The Education officer will work under the supervision of the Chairperson and the Head of Education Division. He or she will liaise closely with the Head of Education Division and the Director of PLD-Cambodia to fulfill his or her duties. These include to -
Oversee the completion of the English curriculum by liaising with the volunteers of the Education Division and contributing materials
Oversee the completion of the doodle book and copybook by liaising with the designers
Liaise with the Director of PLD-Cambodia on monthly updates of the school operation
Assist the preparation of the longitudinal research project
University student or recent graduate
Strong interest in educational projects in developing countries
Strong writing and proofreading skills
Competent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Prior experience in volunteering and/or charity work
Passionate, self-directed and organized
Interest in administrative and operational tasks
Dates: 4 July, 2016 to 31 August, 2016
Working Days: Monday – Friday; 3 full days and 2 half days (Home Office)
The position is unpaid but reasonable travel and lunch expenses will be provided.
